LEFT IS PUSHING HARDER
AFTER ELECTION LOSSES
The day after last week’s election, Fox’s Tucker Carlson insisted that the country is at an “inflection point,” which he said could be summed up in a single phrase: “We’ve had enough!”
“There’s a limit to which you can push the American population before they gently and politely push back though democratic means. And that’s exactly what we just saw. It is now impossible to deny that this country is in the middle of some kind of political realignment, and the people who run our country did not see it coming.”
It would be hard to disagree with that assessment. After the Republican sweep in Virginia (all three statewide offices plus a majority in the legislature), along with the razor-thin results in the (traditionally) Democratic bastion of New Jersey (still in dispute as I write this), and other GOP inroads around the country, “We’ve had enough!” is indeed the watchword of the moment.
As you’d expect, the Dems are receiving advice to do a “Bill Clinton,” and tack back toward the center. Will they heed such counsel?
Joe Biden’s post-election analysis suggests not…
“What I do know is … people want us to get things done. They want us to get things done and that’s why I’m continuing to push very hard for the Democratic Party to move along and pass my infrastructure bill and my Build Back Better bill …. People are upset and uncertain about a lot of things: from COVID to school to jobs to a whole range of things and — the cost of a gallon of gasoline — and so, if I’m able to pass and sign into law my Build Back Better initiative, I’m in a position where you’re going to see a lot of those things ameliorated quickly and swiftly.”
To Sleepy Joe, in other words, last week’s results prove that the Democrats simply haven’t done enough of what people were voting against.
As conservative commentator Deroy Murdock put it on his website…
“socialists argue that Democrats got clocked Tuesday for not being Leftist enough. Will Pelosi and her party wise up or will they keep torturing the American people?”
Murdock answered his own question…
“Alas, too many Democrats are dumb.”
Ah, but are they? It may be that the leaders of the Great Cabal have read the signs astutely.
Public dissatisfaction with the Biden Administration is increasing rapidly. Joe’s approval numbers are in the toilet and circling the bowl. The latest poll has him at only 38 percent. That means the window of opportunity for transforming America into Venezuela-on-the-Mississippi is closing.
The Virginia outcome demonstrated that, even if you have ballots stacked on pallets, there’s no guarantee you can steal every election. And as more and more evidence accumulates about the 2020 election fraud, distrust in the system is declining across the board. Currently, some 56 percent of voters believe there was cheating in 2020 (that includes 47 percent of Black voters, a generally reliable Democrat constituency).
This signals growing voter resentment. And as the 2022 election draws nearer, Democrats in Congress (erstwhile Biden allies) may start doing some tacking themselves. Consequently, the Great Cabal has every incentive to move even faster to achieve complete national destruction.
They’re hard at it. They’ve just muscled their nervous troops (along with a handful of perfidious Republicans) into passing Joe’s gazillion-dollar legislative monstrosity.
And despite some judicial roadblocks, multiple suits being filed, and even defiance from the Democrat governor of Kansas, their crusade for vaccine mandates is being pursued with something like religious fervor. No vax, you wicked sinner? First the mask, then the stake.
It’s indicative of our quickening march from skepticism to cynicism to full-blown paranoia that another interpretation of last week’s election results is now being heard. This line of conjecture was expressed by Andrew Torba, founder of the Gab free-speech social network, who wrote on his blog…
“We are all being PSYOP’ed again by the people who control the outcomes of elections. It’s no coincidence that establishment-controlled ‘Republican’ candidates ‘sweep’ a blue state the day before the first anniversary of the most rigged election in US History.
“They want you to forget. They want people talking about Virginia tomorrow. Not what happened in Arizona, PA, and so many other states one year ago tomorrow.”
Tom Pappert, editor-in-chief at National File, cited Torba’s post, noting that his theory…
“was shared by a veteran political consultant familiar with election integrity efforts who spoke to National File. Speaking anonymously, this consultant told National File that he believes Youngkin and other establishment-backed candidates are being allowed to win by large margins to distract the public from election integrity efforts happening around the country.
“According to this source, many of the Republicans who won in the historic victory are not considered threatening to the Democrats’ agenda when compared to President Donald Trump or other populist, anti-establishment candidates.”
The mind boggles at how suspicious we’ve all become. But I’m not going to be the one to say Torba or that unnamed consultant are wrong. Anything’s believable these days, even so elaborate a PSYOP (psychological operation) as they envision.
There’s no need to put on the tinfoil hat, however. We can always fall back on the view taken by MSNBC’s Joy Reid, who attributed the results in Virginia to racism. Speaking during election night coverage, Reid observed about the GOP…
“That this isn’t a party that’s just another political party that disagrees with us on tax policy. That at this point, they’re dangerous. They’re dangerous to our national security because stoking that kind of soft white nationalism eventually leads to the hard-core stuff.”
She made a predictable link…
“It leads to the Jan. 6 stuff, because if people are tolerant of it in your party, they’re tolerant of the soft racism, it’s a really short trip to get to the Jan. 6 insurrectionist play.”
Reflecting on Reid’s comment in Western Journal, freelance writer Christine Favocci pointed out the irony which seems to have escaped Reid, namely that the Virginia election…
“also ushered in historic wins for Winsome Sears, the [Jamaican-born] Republican candidate who became Virginia’s first Black lieutenant governor, and Jason Miyares, the Cuban-American Republican who is the state’s newest attorney general.”
That’s the sort of racism practiced by Republicans these days.

In an essay for the Daily Beast, Democrat strategist and consultant Max Burns offers a perfect illustration of how the left is interpreting the Virginia losses …
“The worst thing that could possibly happen, then, is for the party’s conservatives to read McAuliffe’s loss as a sign that Americans are turned off by the Democratic agenda ….
“Instead of spending months dissecting what is ultimately an unfortunate but not unexpected outcome in Virginia, Democrats should return to work prepared to pass an agenda that actually resembles their 2020 platform.”

Alas, we shouldn’t assume that last week’s election was a universal triumph of common sense. Jack Davis of Western Journal highlights the loss of a ballot initiative to increase police staffing in Austin, Texas, a city that has endured a sharp rise in its murder rate. The effort to defeat the measure was assisted by an injection of $500,000 by the ever-active lefty billionaire, George Soros…
Tucker Carlson is arguably the most influential commentator on TV just now. I’d call him a national treasure. Another man who merits that title is historian Victor Davis Hanson, whose appearances on multiple talk shows are less theatrically engaging than Tucker’s delivery, but who has a firm grip on the national pulse, and something of a prophetic vision.
Writing on American Greatness, VDH offers insight into how the disastrous Biden policies, the Virginia election, and (ironically) the removal of Donald Trump from daily media prominence have increased The Donald’s stature and future political influence…
“…for 10 months, Donald Trump has been stripped of all his social network outlets. The progressive Silicon monopolies thought they had silenced the once omnipresent Trump.
“But their muzzles had unintended consequences. The less Trump was on social media, the more the public remembered his good policies rather than his controversial tweets.”

If you treat them like alcoholics….you will do better. Alcoholics’ behavior gets worse and worse the more you try to pull away. Their goal is to get you to revert back to your former, dysfunctional behavior.
We need to keep pulling away, fighting for our God-given freedoms, exposing their lies, and eventually they will be vanquished….it will be hard, but it must be done.
