KAMALA SUPPORTERS
ARE GRIEF-STRICKEN
As someone who does a blog, I understand the impulse to share opinions and vent feelings. So I’m not surprised at the grief pouring out online from Kamala Harris supporters over Donald Trump’s historic victory.
Now to be sure, Trumpers have criticized Harris and expressed their objections to the destructive Biden juggernaut. If Trump had lost the election, anger and dire predictions about life in Democrat hell would have flooded social media.
But MAGA frustration doesn’t come close to the level of heartbreak on display among Harris followers.
There are the predictable memes decrying the ignorance or misogyny or wickedness of anyone who would choose the Trump monster over Kamala. That’s to be expected.
But the videos on TikTok and other outlets are excruciating. I think some of them meet the definition of clinical hysteria.
If you haven’t seen any of these startling outbursts, humorist Mark Dice has a good sampling of excerpts on YouTube (HERE and HERE).
What all of this demonstrates is the extent to which the psyches of many people — young people in particular — have been warped by decades of leftist manipulation.
There was a time — and not very long ago — when I would have said that while some folks may claim to hold certain preposterous beliefs (such as the idea that there are multiple genders beyond male and female), in their hearts they know what’s really true.
I’m not so sure about that anymore.
An unyielding barrage of propaganda, beginning in pre-school years, has sown such confusion that some people’s ability to distinguish between reality and absurdity is greatly diminished.
Of course, this suits the agenda of those intent on changing America fundamentally (to paraphrase the words of Barack Obama). The emotion and theatricality of so many heartsick Kamalites keeps alive the anxiety and divisiveness that characterized the election campaign. It helps to exacerbate distrust, and paves the way for the predictable disruptions of Trump’s next administration.
(California Governor Gavin Newsom has taken the initiative in those efforts, and is likely to emerge as the leading figure in anti-Trump subversion.)
As I noted in an earlier blog post, the Left is adept at exploiting conflicted and disheartened people. Right now, these young, tearful, idealistically crushed Kamalites are having their turn at being used.
The corollary to this grassroots heartbreak is all the impassioned handwringing among party leaders and media talking-heads over “What went wrong?” Such was the extent of the Democrat’s disaster that the Harris/Walz ticket couldn’t even carry Tim Walz’s Minnesota home county.
This has the Left Intelligentsia stunned.
We’ll leave aside the delusions of such deep thinkers as Rep. Maxine Waters, who attributes this debacle to that old reliable racism, since Kamala has been presented as a woman of color (although from the start there’s been debate over exactly which color).
Rather, most of the conventional thinking centers on the notion that Democrats were ineffective in communicating with large segments of the American people…
– Messaging was too complicated and blurred…
– Kamala never explained how she’s different from Joe Biden…
– Her campaign wasn’t able to convey the Democrats’ vision…
– There was too much negative focus on Donald Trump…
– Yadda, yadda, yadda…
All of which may be more or less true. But in the end, it’s somewhat beside the point.
The problem really isn’t that Democrats can’t communicate. Actually, they communicate quite well. Through the past three-and-a-half years they’ve communicated precisely what they believe America should be. It just isn’t what the American people want.
This election is only the latest speed bump in the Democrats’ drive to utopia.
Dems started out as opponents of Federalism, championing yeomen farmers and independent craftsmen, and seeking to minimize the power of central government.
In the lead-up to the Civil War, they became the party of slavery and Southern opposition to the dominance of Northern industry and finance.
The late 1800s saw the party become a channel of agrarian demands for cheap money and easy credit.
From the Progressive Era through Franklin Roosevelt’s New Deal, it was the party of labor and big-city ethnic political machines.
Today the Dems are the party of corporate fascism presented in the guise of multi-cultural egalitarianism. This vision, with its bureaucratic rule and economic strangulation, is what voters rejected (and now the party’s future is up for grabs).
Egalitarianism is always hailed as a moral ideal, often cloaked in supposed Christian virtue. Everyone progresses at a just and equal pace. No one gets left behind. What could be fairer?
The truth is the exact opposite. Egalitarianism prohibits everybody from improving their lives.
Why? Because when someone gets ahead, equality is destroyed. So ambition, effort and success are declared illegal, and the vast majority (those not in the ruling class, that is) must live in a continual state of shared poverty.
This is deeply evil. If you don’t believe that, ask the folks who experienced life under Communism.
Trump won because the majority of Americans sensed that this is the ultimate result of the Democratic Party’s current vision.
It wasn’t a failure of Democrat messaging. It wasn’t even Kamala.
The fact of her candidacy is merely a reflection of hubris among the party leadership. Those in the inner circle (what I’ve called the Central Committee) were so confident that this was their moment, they didn’t care that their standard-bearer came across as incompetent, oblivious, even a little bit stupid.
Someday, all those heartbroken Kamalites may understand what really happened in this election — and realize that they were just being used.
Until then, let the tears flow.
And may these grief-stricken people know that we’re praying for them.

Either way, Democrats continue to vent their contempt for Trump supporters, as in this less-than-clever meme which maintains a presence on social media…

Hysteria shades over into paranoia in this impassioned screed. I read it as somebody’s desperate cry for psychological help…
Throughout the campaign, MAGA memesters have demonstrated a much sharper satiric edge than the opposition. That continues in post-election commentary, as this images demonstrates……and this……and this…
